Gerard

Curator

Entrepreneur, Creator, and Visionary the Bronx-born, New York City native & current Director of Operations at the legendary Webster Hall, Gerard holds court as ambassador to one of the city’s most historic and iconic cultural hot spots. Gerard is a Fordham University graduate, taste maker, & trendsetter with two decades of experience at the forefront of NYC nightlife, music, & fashion. Gerard prides himself on sharing his experience & opportunity with those around him. His latest endeavor, as founder and curator of The Quarterly Art Soiree at Webster Hall, is intended to exhibit, expose & promote talent in painting, music, film, fashion, theatre, graphic design & performance, installation, & video art while celebrating the rich cultural history of the Webster Hall venue & of New York City’s dynamic East Village.

 

Jennifer

Co-Curator & Director of Art

Jennifer is a graduate of NYU and received her Master’s from Sotheby’s Institute of Art. Jennifer is the co-founder of the QAS, an early brainstormer and organizer of this colossal event. Jennifer has experience in the theatre, film festival and fine art world. She is thrilled to twirl these worlds together with The QAS.

   
 

Olivia

Producer

Olivia is a long-time veteran from the staff at Webster Hall and has been with the Quarterly Arts Soiree from the beginning. She attended Stella Adler and currently studies at the Barrow Theater Group. After working a few events, she has become the event’s producer since our 5th show on August 21st. Olivia splits her time between her nightlife job and the QAS while endeavoring to pursue a career in both acting and photography.

 

Matthew

Director of Music

Matthew James Evertsen has enjoyed a lifelong passion for great music, across all genres. A natural diplomat for planning, promoting & executing nightlife events from live music to fashion shows and beyond, Matthew’s unique experience and insight as acting liaison between artist and audience, business and consumer is a direct result of his education, work and passion. In 2006, he graduated from Marist College with his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration & Marketing, during which he held a yearlong internship with Universal Motown. After earning his degree Matthew worked from the ground up on the openings of two food and beverage ventures; one being a 4-floor, 15,000 square foot nightclub, the other a bar restaurant that continues to feature live music 6 nights a week. In 2009, Matthew founded RONIN Marketing & Artist Management, offering music solutions for businesses and specializing in branding strategies to create the foundation to launch maintain and nurture artist’s professional success. RONIN continues to collaborate successfully with a diverse roster of artists; from R&B and Hip-Hop, to Classic-Indie Rock, Pop and Electro-Dance. Currently residing in NYC, he is acting Music Director for the Quarterly Arts Soiree held at Webster Hall, while working hard building RONIN. You’ll usually find Matthew bouncing around the city between meetings, shows and events while keeping his eyes & ears open to set the pace one step ahead.

Sonny

 Director of Video

Harrison “Sonny” Reinwald is the Technical Director & Director of Video for The QAS. Originally from Irving, Texas, Harrison spent the past three years working under the tutelage of Daniel Gibbs, chief video editor of music production giant C3 Presents. Harrison is a man of many hats at Webster Hall, spending most of his time behind a camera or behind the bar. He collaborates with many artists, both in Texas and New York, with his production company Notebook Productions, shooting & editing music videos, short films, and various other projects. He is also the bass player for the band Elnard Jones & The Bad Apples who will be making their debut performance at the Fall QAS. With hopes of one day becoming a film maker, Harrison is both grateful and inspired by what The QAS is and what it stands for. He is not necessarily trying to change the world with his work, he just enjoys making stuff.
   
 

John

Technical Director

After studying for an undergraduate degree at Marist College and then gaining a master’s degree at Long Island University, John Santiago came to us as the Technical Coordinator of the Quarterly Arts Soiree, as well as one of our performers. A jack-of-all-trades, John has a strong history of performing, marketing, producing and publishing, but his real passion is working as a singer-songwriter.

   
 

Sax

Liason of Fashion

DMA founder and creator Sax was born and raised in the tiresome Steel Town of Braddock, PA. Gripping every opportunity by the fore-dock, his relentless nature has given him the ability to spawn a multi faceted production company in the heart of New York City, DMA Productions. As the original fashion co ordinator for the “Art of Fashion”, Sax has booked and developed many NYC based designers over the past two years. Now as the Fashion Liaison for the QAS he continues to bring aspiring underground designers into the spot light.

   
 

Lain

Event Photographer

Behind one of the many cameras snapping away on the day of our event will be Lain, our Official Photographer. Lain is part of the staff at Webster Hall and has been assisting us with her photography which she studied at the renowned Pratt Institute, a passion of hers outside the office, since the beginning.

   
 

Mike

Technical Director

Mike Mushkin was introduced to the Quarterly Arts Soiree the day he moved to New York from Missouri in 2010, where he quickly began assisting with the event while beginning a career in film production. He currently acts as the show’s Stage Manager.

 

Rawb

Media Consultant

A Dallas, TX native, actor, artist, performer, designer, bartender, and host, Rawb Lane has been part of the Webster Hall family for over two years now. He is honored to be part of such a creative, artistic convergence of NYC art in such a historical venue such as Webster Hall. Rawb was last seen on stage at the first QAS in an original play by C.M.Moorehead and in William Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”. The QAS is very close to Rawb’s heart and he would like to thank Dillon Porter, Mia Rose, MOM, Mike Mo, Gerard, CA.B, Jenny, Sonny and the rest of the wonderful QAS pioneers for making such an artistic convergence happen anywhere NEAR HIM!!
